Jewellery Care Guide

While our pieces are generously coated with 2.5 microns of 18k gold, vermeil jewellery can still tarnish over time—especially when exposed to moisture, chemicals, or perfumes. To keep your pieces looking their best, we recommend gently wiping them with a soft microfiber cloth after each wear to remove sweat, oils, or product residue. For storage, airtight containers like zip pouches are ideal to help prevent oxidation.

For regular upkeep, gently wipe your jewellery with a microfiber cloth to remove any residue from skin products. If tarnishing appears, use a gold polishing cloth and lightly stroke the surface in one direction until the tarnish fades. Avoid excessive pressure or over-polishing, as it can wear away the gold plating over time.

To preserve the beauty of your jewellery, avoid wearing it in the shower or while doing household chores. Always apply lotions, perfumes, and other skin products before putting on your jewellery. We also recommend keeping it away from damp environments, such as near sinks or in spaces with high humidity, like homes with evaporative cooling during summer.

All of our sterling silver pieces are finished with a layer of rhodium to help prevent tarnishing and maintain their luminous, bright-white shine.

After each wear, gently wipe your chain necklaces with a microfiber cloth to prevent tarnish build-up. When not in use, lay the necklace flat, especially if it has a pendant, to avoid unnecessary strain. If the pendant is detachable, consider removing it to reduce friction and preserve the condition of the chain.

Our pieces are designed to shine on their own, but if you choose to stack them, please do so with care. Pairing them with items that have sharp edges or protruding gemstones may cause scratches or wear over time.

While our pieces are generously coated in gold, they are not immune to wear over time. To preserve their finish, we recommend removing them before engaging in household chores or rigorous activities such as sports or exercise.

We understand it can be inconvenient to remove your studs daily, so we recommend taking them out once a week for a quick clean. If tarnish begins to appear, gently polish the surface with a gold polishing cloth to restore their shine.

Over time, residue can build up behind set gemstones, dulling their sparkle. To restore their brilliance, gently clean them with mild soapy water and a soft-bristled brush—such as a baby toothbrush. Pat dry with a soft cloth and allow them to air dry completely before storing in an airtight container.
