Warranty & Repair

At Stellar + Monique, we take pride in creating jewellery that is expertly crafted and made to endure. Each piece is handcrafted with care using natural gemstones and premium materials - reflecting our commitment to lasting quality.


We understand that fine jewellery lives with you, and occasional issues may arise. That's why every Stellar + Monique piece is covered by our 2-year warranty, so you can wear it with confidence knowing we stand behind our craftsmanship.



What Our Warranty Covers

Our 2-year warranty covers any material defects or workmanship issues from the date of purchase. This includes structural faults, defects in the metal, and issues resulting from production errors.  If something isn't right, simply reach out to us-we'll work closely with you to make it right.


Depending on the issue, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion. We want your experience to feel personal, transparent and fair.



Vermeil Plating Coverage


We use a thick 2.5+ micron layer of 18k gold vermeil over recycled sterling silver - chosen for its beauty, durability and ability to make fine jewellery more accessible. However, as with all plated finishes, wear over time is natural.


If your vermeil begins to wear or show signs of defect within the 2-year warranty period, we will repair or replace the piece at no cost.


If the issue occurs after the warranty period, we offer replating services for a small fee to help extend the life of your jewellery.



Gemstone Care & Replacement


All our gemstones are natural, and no two stones are ever exactly alike. While we take every measure to ensure their secure setting, if your gemstone becomes loose or is damaged due to a fault in workmanship within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it.


Please note: because our stones are natural, replacements may vary slightly in hue, texture, or inclusions—but always meet our quality standards.



After-Warranty Support


Even after your warranty expires, we're still here for you.

If your piece requires attention due to wear, damage, or aging outside the warranty period, we offer paid repair and restoration service - including replating, resetting, or stone replacement - at a quoted fee. We aim to extend the life of every piece, so it continues to be worn and treasured for years to come.



What's not Covered


While we stand by our craftsmanship, our warranty does not cover:

  • Lost or stolen items
  • Tarnishing or discolouration due to chemical exposure, moisture, or improper care
  • Bent rings, broken chains, or scratched surfaces from general wear
  • Third-party repairs or alterations
  • Accidental damage outside of material or manufacturing faults

We always recommend storing your jewellery separately, removing it during active use, and avoiding exposure to perfume, chemicals or cleaning products.



How to Make a Warranty Claim


To make a claim under warranty:


  1. Contact us at hello@stellarmonique.com within 2 years of purchase
  2. Include your order number or confirmation email as proof of purchase 
  3. If your claim is accepted, we will confirm the next steps
  4. Please note: shipping costs associated with returns are the responsibilty of the customer


If approved, we will repair, replace, or refund your piece at no cost for parts or labour during the warranty period.


This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It is offered in addition to your rights under consumer law and does not limit those protections in anyway.
